It started with a cottage.
In 2021, I left Toronto and moved to a small cottage in Algonquin Highlands, Ontario. My heart called me there. Looking back, I think I was meant to go.
Five hives changed everything.
I began with five beehives and very little idea what I was doing. Some winters I lost them, welcomed new colonies in the spring and began again. Year after year, the bees taught me patience—and slowly led me to wax.
It felt as though school was over.
After five and a half years, I had found my own voice—creating small works of art, each one naturally unique. Then life brought me back to Toronto. The forest had taught me what I needed to know. I was finally ready to bring PureBee into the world.
